3. mednarodni kongresa študentov turizma in hotelirstva - NOVI SAD

Prišlo je novo študijsko leto in s tem vas Študentski svet UP FTŠ Turistica vabi na  tradicionalni jesenski izlet v Novi Sad, kjer se bomo udeležili 3. mednarodnega kongresa študentov turizma in hotelirstva.

Seveda bo poleg turističnih ogledov ter kongresa bo vsak dan poskrbljeno tudi za druženje s študenti vseh turističnih fakultet držav bivše Jugoslavije.

Študentski svet UP FTŠ Turistica v sodelovanju s Turizmijado – Toliko toga da se dogodi. Toliko toga da se zavoli.  v mesecu novembru (25., 26., 27. november 2016 ) organizira tradicionalno ekskurzijo v Novi Sad za študente UP FTŠ. Ekskurzija je namenjena vsem študentom UP FTŠ, ki želijo izkusiti enega večjih študentskih kongresov ter navezati nove stike s študenti turističnih fakultet držav bivše Jugoslavije.

ITINERARIJ (25.11.-27.11.2016)

1. DAN: petek, 25.11.2016 PORTOROŽ – NOVI SAD

Avtobus bo začel z avtobusne postaje pred UP FTŠ Turistico, uro odhoda vam bomo naknadno sporočili preko e-maila. Sledi nočna vožnja proti Novemu Sadu. Prihod v Novi Sad v dopoldanskih urah in namestitev v hotelu Putnik & hotelu Vojvodina. Po namestitvi v hotelu bo sledil voden ogled mesta. Ob 19h bomo priča svečani otvoritvi kongresa, kateri bo (okoli 22h) sledila mednarodna zabava #1!

2. DAN: sobota, 26.11.2016 NOVI SAD

Po zajtrku se bomo udeležili mednarodnega kongresa študentov turizma na "Prirodno matematičkom fakultetu" (registracija ob 10h). Tema kongresa je razdeljena na treh segmentih: novi koncepti upravljanja hotelov, spletno oglaševanje in festivalski turizem. Na kongresu bodo predavali številni mednarodni strokovnjaki kot so:

Kongres se bo zaključil ob 18h. Ob 22h pa se bomo odpravili na mednarodno zabavo #2!

3. DAN: nedelja, 27.11.2016 NOVI SAD - PORTOROŽ

Po odjavi iz hotela se bomo odpravili v dopoldanskih urah. Sledi vožnja domov in vrnitev v Slovenijo v večernih urah.

Education & qualifications 
- Must be a current student enrolled on a Bachelor or Masters level degree in the fields of Languages, International Relations, European Studies or similar

Main responsibilities and tasks

The team is responsible for undertaking international student policy work, providing orientation events for new international students, managing the faculty’s student exchange schemes with European higher education institutions, ensuring compliance with Portuguese immigration legislation and fulfilling the terms of our sponsor license, and helping students with visa and immigration advice.

Specialist knowledge & skills
- Good knowledge of the English Language (spoken and written).

Duties of position
Working primarily with the International Students Officer, you will undertake the following main responsibilities

Administrative Support

- Answering routine enquiries from students, academics and senior management by email and in person
- Administrative support for members of the team
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post
- Photocopying and scanning of documents
- Ensuring filing systems are up to date

Student Exchanges
- Ensuring all required paperwork for outgoing and incoming students is complete
- Maintaining accurate records for incoming and outgoing exchange students
- Assisting with the organization of orientation sessions for students participating in an exchange (incoming and outgoing)
- Assisting with the arrangements for any visits from partner universities

Research
- Undertaking research into the service provided by comparable institutions to their international students
- Undertaking research into the information provided to international students pre- and post-arrival and the method used
- Supporting the conduction of any student surveys

Join international CREA Summer Academy Ljubljana.

CREA Summer Academy Ljubljana is free of charge ten day program, which provides students with knowledge and know-how on entrepreneurship, ICT and design to enable the development of start-ups.

CREA is open for teams with an established business idea that on one hand aim to make a step forward in design and user experience aspect of their service or product, and on the other hand want to improve their business model and pitching capacity. You can also apply as an individual student, with or without a business idea, and form a new team with other individual participants or join an existing team that needs your skills and enthusiasm. Students can receive 3 ECTS credit points by contributing at CREA while the best teams will have an opportunity to pitch their idea at the international event. The topic of CREA SA Ljubljana is Green Future. The choice of the topic was inspired by the fact that Ljubljana is a holder of the title European Green Capital 2016, and as such strongly feels about the importance of development of new products and services that contribute to the green future.

CREA SA Ljubljana will take place from 19th till 29th July 2016. Deadline for applications is 17th May 2016.

Design Thinking Summer School 2016

Obveščamo vas, da Fakulteta za dizajn v mesecu avgustu organizira Poletno šolo: Design Thinking Summer School 2016.

V okviru Poletne šole, ki bo potekala med 22.8. in 27.8.2016 bodo udeleženci spoznavali “design thinking” kot poseben način kreativnega oblikovalskega razmišljanja, ki s sistematičnimi metodami in procesom ustvarja nove produkte, storitve, koncepte in poslovne modele.

Poletna šola je zasnovana modularno in sicer v sklopu petih delavnic s področja razvoja konceptov, indetitete, inovacij in blagovne znamke, ki vsebujejo tako teoretično osnovo, kot praktično izvedbo ter primere dobrih praks. Za uspešno krmarjenje med vsebinami bodo poskrbeli strokovnjaki – predavatelji Fakultete za dizajn, ki se lahko pohvalijo s številnimi odmevnimi, oblikovalskimi projekti. Za piko na i pa se boste vodeno sprehodili po poletni Ljubljani in odkrivali neraziskane poti Jožeta Plečnika.

Ključen poudarek Poletne šole bo na spoznavanju in snovanju razvoja novih produktov, storitev in konceptov v inovativnem okolju, s poudarkom na trajnostno naravnanem oblikovanju.

Poletna šola je namenjena dodiplomskim in podiplomskim študentom Fakultete za dizajn, kot tudi študentom drugih visokošolskih zavodov ter vsem, ki jih zanima drugačen pristop k oblikovanju.

Delavnice bodo potekale v slovenskem jeziku in sicer v prostorih Hiše za dizajn management in inovacije (HDMI), Gerbičevi ul. 51 v Ljubljani.

Summer International Exchange Programme 2016

This summer, IFT Macao and NHTV Breda will jointly organize a 10-day summer course exclusively for all undergraduate students within our partner universities network.

20. Sommerdeutschkurs am Meer 2016 vom 20. Juli bis 16. August 2016/ 20th Summer German Course on the Seaside from July 20th until August 16th 2016

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

Dear Sir or Madam,

mit Freude können wir Ihnen mitteilen, dass in diesem Jahr bereits zum 20. Mal unser Sommerdeutschkurs am Meer stattfindet. Die Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, in entspannter Atmosphäre Deutsch zu lernen und einen tollen Sommer mit abwechslungsreichem Programm zu erleben. Neben dem allgemeinen Deutschunterricht werden zusätzliche Kurse mit verschiedenen Schwerpunkten angeboten. Das bunte Freizeitprogramm ermöglicht es den Kursteilnehmern die einmalige Landschaft Norddeutschlands, entlang des Weltnaturerbes Wattenmeer kennenzulernen.

Im vergangenen Jahr konnten 87 Teilnehmer aus 17 Nationen neben der Verbesserung ihrer Sprachkenntnisse, die deutsche Kultur besser kennenlernen und Kontakte zu anderen Teilnehmern aus der ganzen Welt schließen.

It is a pleasure for us to inform you about our Summer German Course on the Seaside in Wilhelmshaven which takes place for the 20th time in a row. Participants will have the chance to learn German and to spend a great summer with a colorful program. Next to the general German lessons we also offer additional courses. In the afternoons the participants can discover the unique landscape and culture of northern Germany alongside the world heritage Waddensea.

In the last year 87 students and participants from 17 different nations were able to improve their German language skills, next to widening their cultural knowledge about Germany and meeting interesting people from all over the world.

LEAP Summit 2016

International Conference Students of Tourism and Hospitality - TURIZMIJADA 2016 Budva, Montenegro

TURIZMIJADA 2016 (04.05. - 08.05.2016)

We are up for another unforgettable, unique and unrepeatable Turizmijada!

As tradition has it, each year in May, Turistica takes part in Turizmijada (an International congress for tourism students from the Balkan region) and this year will be no exception!

This year’s Turizmijada will be held in the town of Budva in Montenegro. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its well preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife. Budva is 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast.

First, let us explain what Turizmijada really is. It is the biggest gathering of tourism and hospitality students from the Balkan region. Through participation in various educational and sports activities you will get to meet and connect with other tourism students and make friends for a lifetime. Below you will find more information about the programme.

Turizmijada is the place to be! If you don’t believe us, come and see it for yourself. Trust us, you will not regret it!

The educational part

Theme of these year’s conference is ‘’It’s all about people’’, since human resources in tourism is the most important factor for quality and success. We will hear the views and opinions of professors and academic experts. The name of lectures at the conference and the names of the main speakers will be announced later on. Also this year Turistica will participate in Case Study with the theme ‘’Student events’’.

Sports activities

This year Turistica will be the defending the name of "Most successful Faculty" for the 4th time in a row in the overall sports rankings. We will be competing in football, volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis, chess, etc. For the full list of sport activities you can contact our students :

Accommodation - hotel BIP**

Hotel BIP is located in the centre of Budva, 300 m away from ‘’Slovenian beach’’. In 2015 the hotel was totally remodeled and it offers roof terrace with a view of the bay and an an island Saint Nikola, free parking space, air-conditioned rooms with free wi-fi and a big restaurant with a terrace. Rooms include wardrobe closet and own bathroom with a tub.

In the hotel complex you can visit the hotel restaurant and a bar with spacious terrace.

You can find the football stadium Mogren and some of the tennis courts on the opposite side of the street, you can take a stroll to nearby restaurants, bars, night clubs and bus station. The main bus station is 1km away.

Party and entertainment programme

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Tuesday, 3th of May 2016

Departure from Ljubljana (Dolgi most) at 6pm and departure from Portorož (bus stop in front of Turistica) at 8pm and a night ride towards Montenegro.

Day 2: Wednesday, 4th of May 2016

Arrival in Budva and check-in in Hotel BIP**. Latter is “Welcome party” for all of the participants, where you can meet other students from abroad and explore the surroundings as you wish. In the afternoon there is an opening ceremony of Turizmijada on which all the participated Faculties will represent themselves. Further on there will be a group photoshooting. At 10pm starts the “Get to know each other” party.

Day 3: Thursday, 5th of May 2016

The opening of the conference and lectures of many well-known european academics, and representers of Economy. Throughout the day there will be various sport competitions.  You will get more information about sport competitions and the final schedule of the lectures subsequently. In the evening follows a party with live music.

Day 4: Friday, 6th of May 2016

Our Case Study teams will present their paper and compete against other faculties and there will be final rounds of sports competitions and our athletes will need each and every one of you to come and help them on the road to victory.

DAY 5: Saturday, 7th of May 2016

On Saturday there will be final rounds of sport competitions and our athletes will need each and every one of you to come and help them on the road to victory. At 10pm there will be the last party and the proclamation of the winner in the sport competitions and trophy ceremony.

DAY 6: Sunday, 8th of May 2015

At  8am check-out and departure for Slovenia.

Budva (04.05. - 08.05.2016)

Na sporedu je nepozabna, edinstvena in neponovljiva Turizmijada!

Turistica se bo letos ponovno udeležila Mednarodnega kongresa Fakultet za turizem in hotelirstvo - Turizmijade. Letos se bo Turizmijada odvijala v mestu Budva (Črna gora). Budva je najbolj obiskano turistično mesto v Črnogorskem primorju. Mesto leži ob Budvanskem zalivu.

Budva je ob slikovitem starem mestnem jedru dosegla svoj sloves tudi s čudovitimi prostranimi peščenimi plažami. Slikovito staro mestece se se je po 2. svet. vojni vedno bolj širilo z graditvijo številnih turističnih objektov, vil, poletnih hišic, in hotelov.  

Za vse tiste, ki še ne veste, gre za največje druženje študentov turizma na področju Balkana.

Glavne aktivnosti Turizmijade so izobraževanje, športna tekmovanja in v prvi vrsti druženje s študenti turizma. Turizmijada 2016 obljublja program, ki bo popestril dogajanje in druženje študentov turizma nekdanje skupne države Jugoslavije.

Izobraževalni del

Tema letošnje konference je “It’s all about people”, saj so človeški viri v turizmu, kot delovno intenzivni panogi, najpomembnejši faktor za kvaliteto in uspeh. Slišali bomo mnenja in stališča akademskih profesorjev in strokovnjakov. Naslove predavanj na konferenci in imena glavnih predavateljev vam bomo posredovali naknadno.

Tudi to leto bo Turistica imela na tekmovanju v Case Study-ju  svoje predstavnike in tema letošnjih Case Studyjev je “Študentski dogodki”.

Šport

Turistica se bo tudi letos borila za najvišja mesta  v športnih tekmovanjih na Turizmijadi. Kakor pretekla leta, bomo tudi letos z ženskimi in moškimi ekipami tekmovali v nogometu, odbojki, odbojki na mivki,  košarki, rokometu, šahu, namiznem tenisu, plavanju in atletiki.

Nastanitev - hotel BIP**

Hotel BIP se nahaja na glavnem bulvarju v Budvi, 300 m od Slovenske plaže. Leta 2015 je bil popolnoma prenovljen in ponuja strešno teraso s panoramskim pogledom na zaliv ter otok Sveti Nikola, brezplačno parkirišče, klimatizirane sobe z brezplačnim brezžičnim internetom in veliko restavracijo s teraso. Sobe vključujejo garderobno omaro in lastno kopalnico s kadjo. V sklopu hotela lahko obiščete restavracijo in bar s prostorno teraso.

Nogometni stadion Mogren in nekaj teniških igrišč najdete na nasprotni strani ulice, sprehodite pa se lahko tudi do nekaterih restavracij, barov, nočnih klubov ter postaje javnega avtobusa. Glavna avtobusna postaja je 1 km stran.

Bodite tudi vi del največje zabave študentov turizma in hotelirstva na Balkanu.

Zabavajte se ob ritmu najboljše glasbe, za katero bodo poskrbeli številni DJ-ji v klubu Trocadero v bližini centra Budve. Trocadero je poznan  po največjem odru glasbe bivše Jugoslavije in je zato najboljše mesto za zabavo v Črni Gori, zato vas vabimo, da to preverite tudi sami.

Dan I: torek, 03.05.2016:

Odhod iz Ljubljane (Dolgi most) ob 18. uri ter odhod iz Portoroža (avtobusna postaja pred Turistico) ob 20. uri ter nočna vožnja proti Črni Gori.

Dan II: sreda, 04.05.2016:

Prihod v Budvo ter check in v hotel BIP**. Sledi “Welcome party” za vse udeležence, kjer se boste lahko spoznali z ostalimi študenti ter raziskovanje okolice v lastni režiji. Popoldan sledi otvoritvena slovesnost Turizmijade na kateri se bodo predstavile vse fakultete udeleženke ter skupinsko fotografiranje. Ob 10. uri zvečer pričnemo s spoznavno zabavo.

Dan III: četrtek, 05.05.2016.

Otvoritev konference in predavanja številnih znanih akademikov, ki prihajajo iz vse Evrope ter predstavnikov iz gospodarstva. Čez cel dan bodo potekala športna tekmovanja v različnih športih. Več informacij ter končen urnik predavanj ter potek športnih tekmovanj boste prejeli naknadno. Zvečer sledi zabava z živo glasbo.

Dan IV: petek, 06.05.2016

V dopoldanskih urah imamo Case study tekmovanje; vsi študentje so vabljeni, da pridejo poslušati, spodbujati ter navijati za naše predstavnike. Predstavitvam bo sledila tudi podelitev nagrad najboljšim predstavnikom Case Studyja. Tekom dneva bodo ponovno potekala športna tekmovanja, imelo bomo prav tako čas za počitek na plaži ter plavanje v morju. Zvečer ob deseti uri prične večerni tematski žur, ob peti uri zjutraj pa za vse najpogumnejše še after party.

Dan V: sobota, 07.05.2016.

Sledijo zaključne tekme naših športnikov, ki bodo potrebovali vse nas, da pridemo ter jih podpiramo in navijamo za njih na poti do zmage. Ob deseti uri zvečer sledi Zaključni žur in razglasitev zmagovalcev športnih tekmovanj in podelitev pokalov in diplom najboljšim ter nato zabava do jutranjih ur.

Dan VI: nedelja, 08.05.2016.

Check-out iz hotela BIP** ter ob 11:00h odhod proti Sloveniji.
