Dear students UP FTS,
University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee's School of Hotel and Restaurant Management put together a study abroad program for March 12-19, 2011 (Spring Break for some schools in the U.S.).
Here are the facts about this program
What Course: HFT 4930- International Resort and Tourism Management (3 credits)
When: March 12 – 19, 2011 (there is a 2 week online component before the trip and one week after the trip)
Where: Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Which Hotel: All-inclusive Hotel on the Beach
Cost: $1035 for the program fee + Tuition (In State: $151.24/credit ; Out of State: $511.55/credit
(Non-USF students must pay $30 application fee and $10 transcript fee.)
What is included in the price: All inclusive lodging (double occupancy) - All meals included
• On-site leadership of USF professor (with 25 students)
• Trip to Dunn River Falls
• Guest lecturer on local culture
• Sickness/accident and emergency medical evacuation insurance
• Transportation to and from hotel
• Administrative fees
