SUMMER SCHOOL “3R for CULTURAL TOURISM”

The summer school is an Erasmus Intensive Programme (IP) organized by four partner universities:
- University of Primorska, Koper, Slovenia,
- University of Klagenfurt, Austria,
- University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, Croatia,
- University of Trieste, Italy.

The coordinator of the project is the University of Primorska, which is cooperating closely with the 
Municipality of Komen where the IP will take place. Komen is situated in the Slovenian Karst region, which is due to its historical events during the 1st World War (Battles of Isonzo) a life monument. 
The Summer School aims to train students in building their capacities in facing major issues in 
discovering and studying Karst landscapes and their natural and cultural heritage. It is designed for
undergraduate and postgraduate students and professors from different teaching backgrounds from
four different universities from four countries.
