After a hard finals month, Student Council of UP FTŠ Turistica invites you on an excursion to Belgrade Serbia. There we will visit one of the biggest tourism fairs. Of course there is no real experience of Belgrade without taking a sight at the city and hanging out with fellow students from former Yugoslavia!

In collaboration with Turizmijada, we are organising this excursion in the month of February (19^th, 20^th, 21^st Feb 2016). It is meant for anyone who wants to experience Belgrade and spend a day at an international fair of tourism.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Friday, 19.02.2016 PORTOROŽ – BELGRADE

The bus leaves the station in front of UP FTŠ Turistica in Portorož at 00:45. We are taking a night ride via Zagreb, passing Slavonski Brod to Belgrade. We will arrive to Belgrade at around 11 o’clock, when we will accommodate in Hotel Slavija.

At 12 a.m. we will meet our volunteers who will give us some basic information. Afterwards there are organised 4 different sightseeing tours:

•      Bohemian: sight tour of famous old and new “kafana” (traditional bars/clubs), a walk through Skadarlija, a bohemian quarter;
•        Historic: this one is recommended for first time visitors, for it will tour most of the city’s sights;
•        Basic: for all the guests who wish to hear some new and interesting information;
•       Relaxed: it’s goal is to see the basic sights and experience “kafana”, where you can drink some mulled wine, rakija  (traditional serbian spirits) or eat some “pasulj”. 

At 3 PM we will meet with other students from former Yugoslavia and we will make a group photo. After the photo shooting you will have some free time to explore Belgrade on your own. At 10 PM the first awesome party awaits.

  

Day 2: Saturday, 20. 02. 2016 BELGRADE: Tourism Fair

After breakfast we will visit the 38^th international fair of tourism (ITTA), which is one of the biggest fairs in Serbia and also in southeastern part of Europe. There will be more than 800 exhibitors from about 40 countries.

After a day full of new knowledge and acquaintances, we will make our way to a less formal environment where we will strengthen our social network on the second party, which starts at 10 PM.

Day 3: Sunday, 21. 02. 2015 BELGRADE – PORTOROŽ

Departure toward Portorož is at 9 AM and we will arrive to Slovenia in the evening.

PRICE: 85,00€

Minimum of 38 pax, max 50 pax.

The price includes:

• Bus transfer
• 2 nights at Hotel Slavija + breakfast
• Tour of the city with a licensed guide
• Entry fees for the fair (Saturday, 20.02.2016)
• Entry fees for 2 parties
• Health insurance with Coris assistance
• VAT

Additional payment:

- Safety deposit for any damaging in the hotel (you will pay this on the bus) – 5€

Transfers from parties to the hotel are not organised! You have to take care of it yourself. (there are usually taxis waiting outside the clubs).

- to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately to the weather

- to take an ID (passport or identity card)

- your application is not final until you pay the bill!
